Arielle Loewinger directs a programme that includes Francis Poulenc’s Un Soir de Neige, capturing the starkness of a snowy evening and the warm solace of Richard Rodney Bennett’s Five Carols. New music by Nils Greenhow lends a fresh voice to the seasonal theme and the programme is interwoven with Marian hymns, lullabies, and reflections on stillness and light.
