Durham University Orchestral Society chamber orchestra continue this season’s Beethoven theme with his fifth symphony, the opening of which Beethoven reportedly described as fate knocking at the door. Prokofiev’s musical fable Peter and the Wolf showcases the sections and soloists within the orchestra as individual instruments take on the characters of the story.
