Durham University Orchestral Society’s Chamber Orchestra present a spirited programme of dances, to invigorate the senses, and which illustrates Joan Tower’s own words about her piece ‘Chamber Dance’:
“Like dancers, the members of this large group have to be very much in touch with what everyone else is doing, and allow for changing leadership to guide the smaller and bigger ensembles.”
